GERARDI, Rosario of Lindenhurst born to Joseph and Josephine Gerardi on September 14, 1938 and passed away on January 3, 2017. Beloved husband of Josephine (nee Vinci). Loving father of Jane Gerardi, Nancy Gerardi-Carrington, Susan Bello and Joseph Gerardi. Caring brother of Cosmo Gerardi, Lena Inzirella and the late Jack, Vito, Frank and Joseph. Cherished grandfather of Michael, Nikki, Zion, Logan and Tony Rosario. Mr. Gerardi retired as a Tester from the New York Telephone Company. Our Dad, a relentless dreamer and a lover of life and laughter. He found joy in the simple things. The sounds of Sinatra and Bennett, waiting for a bite on his fishing line, raking the seabed for clams, the sun on his face. Most of all he found joy in his wife Josephine, his children, grandchildren and all his family near and far. He loved to make others laugh and was man-enough to take a good teasing.
