Obituary for Anna Yodice
With great sorrow and bittersweet gratitude, the family of Anna Zollo Yodice announce the passing of our kind, sweet and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother at 102.
Anna was born in Brooklyn, NY on August 30, 1920. She met the love of her life Michael Yodice and was happily married until his passing in 1999 for 53 years
She is survived by her three children: Kathleen, Richard (Ruth), and Marguerite (Matthew), and her bonus children Joanie and MaryAnn, her seven grandchildren and her fifteen great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Helen Giangola, Vera, Mangogna, and Evelyn Zollo, and her family of loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday March 24th at 10am at Lindenhurst Funeral Home; 424 South Wellwood Avenue, Lindenhurst, New York. Immediately following the service, the funeral procession will travel to Calverton National Cemetery; 210 Princeton Blvd., Calverton, New York.
The family will receive family and friends following the cemetery at Patrizia’s, 358 Vanderbilt Motor Parkway, Hauppauge, New York.
