The heart of the woman who spent her life loving God, her family & community.
Catherine was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. During her teens she joined the Sodality of Mary. Before marrying the Love of her life, she worked for her father’s plumbing business and a few years in NY City as a bookkeeper. Being a faith filled woman of God, wife to John and mother of 8 daughters was at her core. She was a member of the Rosary Group, Legion of Mary, Altar Society, Eucharist Minister, delivered the Blessed Mother statue throughout the community and a member of The Third order of St. Dominic.
She was a dedicated member of Overeaters Anonymous for over 47 years, sharing her heart with others in need and being filled with their support as well.
After her stroke in October 2017, Catherine was admitted to Maria Regina Residence in Brentwood, NY. Her time there presented opportunities to share her faith and open heart with other residents, the nursing staff and workers who all love her.
