Obituary for Emma DePalma
Emma DePalma was born July 5th, 1926, in Bronx, NY. Emma passed away on Sunday January 14th, 2024, at age 97. In her final years Emma was a resident at Gurwin Nursing Home in Commack, NY.
Emma’s greatest joy was being a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Emma was very generous and was always there to lend a helping hand or support to anyone who needed it.
Emma is predeceased by 3 of her sons, Thomas Ferencsik, James Ferencsik and Kenneth Ferencsik, as well as her daughter-in-law Alita Ferencsik (Joseph’s wife) and Jo Joe Ferencsik her great grandson.
She leaves behind her sons Joseph Ferencsik, Chris Ferencsik, his wife Linda, Anthony Ferencsik, and daughter-in law Pamela Ferencsik (Kenneth’s wife). In addition, she leaves behind, grandchildren, Joseph Ferencsik, Alisabeth Adams, Erik Ferencsik, Heather Ferencsik, Kimberely Dawn Morse, Andrew Ferencsik, Nicole Ferencsik, Amanda Lopez-Aliaga, Kendrick Ferencsik, as well as 14 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Emma loved children and was a supporter of Saint Jude’s Children’s Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Saint Jude’s Childrens Hospital in her name. For your convenience, there is a link at the bottom of the page to make donations.
