My sister and I have been separated for a long time but I know we loved each other
which gives me peace at this time. She and my Sister Celly were my big sisters.
We all lived in a 2 bedroom apartment in Brookyn until 1946 when we moved to Lindenhurst. Danny was born the year before we moved
Eva was born in Brooklyn and was devastated when we left there. I know Brooklyn was in her heart until the day she passed.
She absolutely loved music and was known to sing along with all the 40s music in particular. And of course a big sinatra fan. I think I recall that she & Celly saw him at the Brooklyn Paramount Theatre.
She married Joe and had two great kids Lisa & Joseph (His dad called him that when he was in trouble ..which was often).
She and Joey were like 2 peas in a pod.
She was fortunate to live with Lisa and watch her two beautiful grandsons Jeffrey & Peter grow up to fine young men. She adored them & they adored her.
I will miss all my DiVirgilio family members more than I can say. Angie
