MCGRATH (JOHNSON) – Jane passed on April 25, 2022. She leaves behind her beloved husband of 57 years, Robert McGrath. Loving mother of Robert (Diane), Peter (Linda), and Michael. Cherished grandmother of Erin, Timothy, and Maximilian. Beloved sister, aunt, friend. Jane was born in the Bronx, NY. She graduated Hunter College and spent several years teaching in the Bronx. Jane spent 44 years in Milford, NJ before moving to Lindenhurst, NY. Jane loved being with family and friends, she loved dancing, arts and crafts, and a good Cosmo. Visitation will be held on Thursday April 28 from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Lindenhurst Funeral Home (424 S. Wellwood Ave., Lindenhurst NY). Funeral Mass on Friday, April 29, 9:45 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help RC Church, Lindenhurst. Interment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale.
