Josephine Bloecker (Nana) 97, passed away on April 6, 2022. Originally from Brooklyn, NY, she married William Longo in 1943. They moved to Bethpage, NY in 1964 with their 2 children, Billy and Dolores. Sadly, William Longo passed away on January 15, 1968. On September 6, 1970 Josephine remarried to Edward Bloecker. Josephine and Eddie moved to Florida in 1982 where they spent 15 years together until the sudden passing of Eddie in 1997. Josephine moved back to NY to live with her daughter Dolores, son-in-law Mike and grandchildren Michael and Nicole for the rest of her years. Those 25 years brought so much love, laughter and memories to be cherished by her family for the rest of their lives. Josephine is survived by her daughter Dolores, son-in-law Mike, her grandchildren, Michael and Nicole, and her great grandchild Noah. She was the most generous, caring, and wise soul who touched many lives with her stories, experiences, and advice. Josephine will be missed by so many who love her, who knew her, and who were lucky enough to be able to meet her. Her legacy will live on through her family forever.
