Obituary for Kathleen M. Rush
Kathleen “Kitty” Rush, 81, of Lindenhurst, passed away on September 11, 2022.
Kitty was born in Brooklyn, NY to Charles and Bertha Earle on June 17, 1941. She married Henry “Hank” Rush on April 30, 1960. She was a stay-at-home mom and was totally dedicated to her four sons, her seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Her devotion to her family was evident in her favorite holiday, Thanksgiving, when she enjoyed having her entire family around her.
Kitty is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Bertha; her brothers, Bill, Charlie, and Timmy; and her sisters-in-law, Astrid and Barbara. She is survived by her husband, Hank; her four sons, Scott (Michael), Wayne (Tracy), Daniel (Laurie), and Jeffrey (Trisha); her brother Frank; her sisters-in-law, Janet, Connie, and Adrienne; her grandchildren, Michelle (Michael), Samantha, Brian, Timothy, Allison, Danielle, and James; and great-grandchildren, Lucas, Charlotte, and baby-Pope-on-the-way.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church.
