Mary passed away peacefully, on July 12, 2020, after a short illness, just miles away from where she grew up. She loved Lindenhurst and resided there most of her life.

Mary lived through her family by sharing with pride in the graduations, weddings, births and reunions of her siblings. She was always taking pictures with her latest. camera and enjoyed collections of all different types.
At Lindenhurst High School she was on the baton twirling squad a and in later years volunteered teaching twirling at the church youth group. As an avid Yankees fan, she would take notes on each game. She was especially fond of the family pet, Murphy. In later years, she was a caregiver and companion for her parents.

In her last days, when asked what she wanted God to know, she replied, “I just love living.”
