Maureen, (nee Kiely) 76 of Lindenhurst passed away peacefully on February 3, 2021 after a courageous 5 tear battle with cancer. Maureen was predeceased by her beloved husband Edward in 1977. She became a young single mother and is survived by her adoring children, Lynn Marie Pisano Keefer, Anthony ( Michelle) Pisano and Denise ( Gregory) Bernardi. Cherished Nana of Amber (Sean), Anthony Jr., Lilly, James, Nadine, Paige, Grace, Daniel and Great Nana to Olive and Finn. Maureen is predeceased by her sister Patricia ( Thomas) Winant and her brother Ronald (Betty) Kiely. She is also survived by her longtime companion Robert Buck, many nieces, nephews and numerous friends. After retiring as the Assistant to the Dean of Arts and Sciences at SUNY Farmingdale in 2012 she enjoyed traveling, shopping, gardening, reading, dining out and spending time with her loved ones. Maureen will be dearly missed by her friends and family and remembered for her love, generosity and sense of humor which included countless birthday cards secretly filled with confetti.
