Mildred Matera in her 88th year entered into eternal peace on Wednesday, March 17, 2021
Mildred was the former owner of Mater Dei Religious Shop, a member of OLPH Knights of Columbus Council 794 Ladies Auxiliary and Eucharist Minister of OLPH Church.
Mildred was predeceased by her beloved husband of 31 years, Salvatore.
She is survived by her children, Rene and Phil Renna and Edward. Grandchildren, Philip Renna, Janelle Matera, Rae-Marie Renna, Dina Andreas, Christina Renna (predeceased), Ryan Matera, and RJ Renna. Great Granddaughters, Isabella, Lilly and Gabriella. Also survived by her siblings Anthony Manzolillo, Joan DeVivo, Joseph Manzolillo and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are welcomed to celebrate Mildred’s life on Monday, March 22 between 9am-10:15am at Lindenhurst Funeral Home 424 S Wellwood Ave., Lindenhurst, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church 200 South Wellwood Ave., Lindenhurst, NY. Interment will follow at St Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY
