Robert W. Fischer, also known to many as Capt. Bob, died peacefully on July 1, 2023. Robert was born on June 2, 1948 in the Bronx, NY and was 75 years old at the time of his passing. He is survived by his children Robert and his wife Laura, Annmarie and her husband Gerry, Elaine and her husband Peter, Michelle and her husband Glenn, Billy and his wife Andrea, Mary, Joe and his wife Lauren, and Theresa and her husband Ybrahin, and is survived by their mother Frances. He was predeceased by his son Michael. He is also survived by his sister Rosemary and his nephew Kevin. He was also a loving grandfather to his 23 grandchildren and his two great grandchildren. Robert lived most of his life in Lindenhurst, NY and was a retired Nassau County Police Officer. He was also a boat Captain and spent many years on his boats. Robert enjoyed his retirement years spending time with his children and grandchildren, his good buddy Joey C, and his weekly lunch dates with his friends, whom he held dear. Robert is so deeply loved and so greatly missed. Eternal rest grant unto Robert, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.
