Obituary for Thomas Henry Schroader Jr.
Gone too soon. Thomas Henry Schroader Jr. 58, of Lindenhurst , NY passed away March 28, 2023.
Tommy is survived by his predeceased loving mother Maureen, Carl, Tom, Gloria, 6 brothers and sisters, and their husbands and wives, 19 nieces and nephews that he loved, adored and treated as though they were his own children, aunts, uncles and too many cousins to list. He is also survived by many loving friends.
Tommy was a wonderful son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend who loved his family. He always had sound advice and a sarcastic joke ready to cheer somebody up who was having a bad day. He will always be remembered for his big heart, sweet smile, kindness and sense of humor. He was generous and thoughtful beyond belief and loved giving gifts just because he saw something he knew you needed or would love. He loved music and was always the one put in charge when a playlist was needed. He loved travel and had been all over Europe.
Tommy was talented beyond words. He loved design and if you hired him to renovate your home he would listen to what you wanted and then convince you his ideas were better, and most of the time he was right! Many times he became friends with clients he did work for in his free time. He was a pro desk manager at Home Depot and loved helping people find what they needed for their home or contractor build. He could fix anything!
When our mother passed Tommy was devastated and heartbroken. They shared a special bond and she was his everything. We pray they are together in heaven sharing a glass of wine (or two). Rest in peace, Tommy. We love you beyond words and you will be forever missed.
