The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of George Walters can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Carol & Mike Rifenburgh

Rosaleen, sorry to hear about the passing of your husband, George. Also we send our condolences to your children, grandchildren and other family members. We were so happy that we got a chance to visit you and George when we came up from Florida three years ago. I have so many good memories of George and what a kind man he was to everyone. I remember when he did electrical work for Ethel, a little elderly lady I took care of. He did not charge her that much and I know he did a lot of work in her house. I remember he always had a smile on his face. He was a good man and will be missed by all of us. I know he's in heaven looking down on everyone. God wanted him now so George wouldn't have to suffer anymore. As Catholics, I believe that you'll see him again. Love to all of you, Carol & Mike Rifenburgh...Spring Hill, Fl.
