Obituary for Joan M. Cox

Joan M. Cox was born the the Bronx and lived in Brooklyn before moving to Lindenhurst to start a family with her husband Thomas J. Cox whom passed away on March 12, 2002. Mrs. Cox is survived by her three loving sons; Thomas, Michael and Kenneth. Mrs. Cox is also survived by her sister Lorraine. She also had two sisters that predeceased her; Agnes and Mae. Mrs. Cox adored her grandchildren; Brett, Amanda, Tyler, Elizabeth, Mackenzie, Thomas and Corrine. Mrs. Cox was a Nurses Aide at East Neck Nursing and Rehabilitation in West Babylon. Cared for many foster children. She was an active member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary, OLPH Christian Mothers and a member of the Red Hats. She will be sorely missed.
