Dear Billy, My heart is full of sorrow knowing that I will never see you again. It was never mine or your grandparents Forte intentions, to have you taken from us. But people had other plans. I had always prayed that you would contact me once you grew up, and you did. I am so sorry that so many inaccurate things were told to you but finally know the truth and that you were and still are very much loved.. I was so happy to know that you went to your great grandfather's funeral, and I know he was looking down and was so happy to see you there. What helps me get over your loss is that I now know you are safe with your Great Grandparents, Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Forte. They are now taking care of you and no one can take you away from them again. I think and pray for you everyday. I was, I am and I will always be your Mamar, and no one can ever tell you that I do not exist again. Many of my friends that knew you are praying for you, and you are now safe and at peace. Tell we meet again. I love you Billy, rest peacefully with your Great Grandparents, and know that no on can hurt you or lie to you again. I pray for you every day. Love you very much, your Mamar.

Billy, this feels like a nightmare we are stuck in and can't wake up from. We keep thinking you will just pop in our door like you always have being your loud self with that infectious laugh of yours. You were always the loudest person in the room with the loudest clap known in the universe. We were there with you from the beginning. We can still remember holding you when you were born. You were the son we never had and the brother Ashley always wanted. We have so many wonderful memories with you as you grew up. All the holidays, birthdays, barbecues, sports and summers in the pool. Playing ball at the park and fields, the Yankees/Mets games, football Sundays, teasing Aunt Sarah for saying "Jerek Deter". Sorry for making you a Jets fan but we did have a lot of fun with them over the years. All the late night gaming with Uncle Joe that you had so much fun doing. Aunt Sarah would wake up to find both of us sleeping on the couch, controllers still in hand but all the snacks gone. When Aunt Sarah would take you into Victoria's Secret to embarrass you. All the times we needed help from you and you were always there, no questions asked, unconditionally. We could go on forever. We cherish them so dearly and you will forever be a part of our hearts. Kenzie told us the other day that her uncle was an angel now and he would watch over her. Every chicken cutlet Aunt Sarah makes she will be thinking of you. We will keep an extra large ketchup bottle in the fridge forever. We all miss you terribly. What a wonderful soul you always had with one of the biggest, kindest hearts. We were always so proud of you and to call you our nephew.
RIP "Uncle"
Aunt Sarah, Uncle Joe, Ashley and Kenzie

Lost for words - never never expected we'd ever lose you. I wake up everyday wanting to call you just to hear "Uncle Bob come on now - it's too early for this $hi* - can't anybody get some sleep - just give me a half hour". We shared a friendship that only we can understand. I thought I had something that I could teach you but instead you taught me more. You recently thanked me for accepting you unconditionally but it was you who taught me all about that and I couldn't be more grateful to you if I lived two lifetimes. No one ever respected me like you did. It has been an honor knowing you. I could write forever about the light you had. We all could. I'll cherish all the memories we made together.Today is not goodbye. We are only here for a little while. I'll see ya down the road and for now I'll carry you in my heart. Just breathe Uncle Bob that's what you'd tell me Billy Liles just breathe. Love you forever Billy.
