The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Grace Short can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Grace on the beach at EBYC

We first met Grace and Joe when they were at the beach house on Englewood Beach and Yacht Club.  How Grace loved her Joe, she took care of him like no other!!  She was such a little lady, always smiling and cheerful.  We had many fun times with them in the years we were together in Florida.

Every year, we arrived at Englewood a week  before them and always anxiously awaited Grace and Joe's arrival at the beach house. It will be a sad time without their presence, but her spirit will still be with us and  our fond  memories of the fun and loving times we all shared!!  We won't be able to hear of  Irish Soda bread without thinking of Grace and all the times she made her delicious bread to share with us.

Our hearts and prayers go out to Joe and the rest of her family, you all meant so much to Grace.  When we would get together each year, she always delighted in telling how each of you were doing!

May our Lord hold you in His Loving Embrace and help you through these sad times.  With our Love and remembrace of a Great Lady,  Bob and Mary Ann Seidel
