The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Grace Short can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

All Class

We also, knew Gracie and Joe from EBYC. They were our down stair neighbors at the beach house. Such a warm friendly lady and I do mean lady. We were talking yesterday and I was telling my husband Gracie had the pretttiest blue eyes they sparkled. My husband said his thoughts of Gracie were she was just such a lady. She knew how to have a good time but also had the persona of "Ladies Who Lunch" Our last time spent with Joe and Gracie was the night before we were heading back to NH, a group of us had gone out to dinner we were sitting with Joe and Gracie. I am glad it was a good memory. The love that Joe and Gracie shared was remarkable. Joe's favorite song that he would sing when Gracie wanted something was "What Ever Lola Wants Lola Gets" I end by sharing something I read some years ago it was called Amazing Greace and I always thought it described her personality it reads Life is a classroom and each day we recieve a passing or failing grade in one particular subject : one subject being Grace, being smartest prettiest most talented richest or even poorest can't help. Being a humble person can and being a helpful person can guide you through your days with grace and gratitude. This was amazing Grace Short John and Mary Badurak
